After fleeing conflict and arriving in Ottawa with no local support network, Amira and her family found their footing through NROCRC's newcomer settlement services.
After his wife passed away, 74-year-old George found himself increasingly isolated. NROCRC's seniors social programs reconnected him with neighbours and gave him purpose as a volunteer.
After losing his job, Marcus came to NROCRC feeling overwhelmed. Our team connected him with the right community resources and provided employment navigation support — and within four months he secured a full-time position.
