NROCRC is proud to host and support partner organizations that provide specialized services to residents in our community. These programs are delivered by dedicated partner agencies operating out of our centre, expanding the range of supports available to our neighbours.

East African Parents Association (EAPA)
The East African Parents Association (EAPA) supports individuals and families through culturally responsive services that promote wellbeing, stability, and community connection. Services include assistance with accessing social services, referrals to community resources, employment support, life skills development, and family wellbeing. EAPA helps individuals and families navigate challenges, build confidence, and access the support they need to thrive.

AFIFO is a city-wide organization that supports newcomers, immigrants, and diverse communities across Ottawa. Through culturally responsive programs, AFIFO helps individuals and families build connections, access resources, strengthen community belonging, and successfully navigate life in Canada.

The Mehari Centre is a community-led organization supporting Eritrean and East African newcomers in Ottawa through culturally and linguistically grounded settlement services, mental health and wellness initiatives, gender-based violence prevention, youth and family programming, and community-based research that advances equity and belonging.

The Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) provides a monthly credit directly on electricity bills for eligible low-income households. NROCRC can help residents determine eligibility and complete the application process, making it easier to access financial support and reduce household expenses.
