NROCRC offers short-term, solution-focused counselling to individuals and families in our community. Our trained counsellors provide a safe, confidential space to work through life's challenges — no referral needed, no cost.
We believe everyone deserves access to mental health support regardless of financial situation. Our counselling services are available to residents of Nepean, Rideau, and Osgoode.
What We Can Help With
Our counsellors are trained to support you through a wide range of challenges, including:
- Stress and anxiety
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions (job loss, separation, immigration)
- Depression and low mood
- Self-esteem and personal growth
How to Access Counselling
Getting started is straightforward — reach out and we will match you with the right support:
- Sessions are typically 50 minutes
- We offer in-person and phone appointments
- A counsellor will complete a brief intake to match you with the right support
Confidentiality
Everything shared in counselling is confidential except where safety is at risk (mandatory reporting obligations under Ontario law). Counsellors follow professional ethical standards.
